Fort Lauderdale A1A Marathon and 5K Races to Benefit United Way of Broward County

(Press Release)Fort Lauderdale, FL –Ready, set, run! Exclusive Sports Marketing, owners of Exclusive Sports Marketing, and United Way of Broward County have teamed up in a race to help the community! The net proceeds from the upcoming 5K races and Ft. Lauderdale A1A Marathon will all benefit United Way of Broward County’s health initiatives.

“We believe that the Fort Lauderdale A1A Marathon becoming the premiere United Way event in South Florida presents a great opportunity for both organizations to raise funds for children’s charities throughout Broward County,” said Chris Colgan, President of Exclusive Sports Marketing.

The A1A Marathon is a 26.2 mile course that attracted over 4,000 runners in 2008 from across the nation. The race begins at the Museum of Discovery and Science in Ft. Lauderdale, east down Las Olas Blvd, along A1A and ends at the South Beach Parking lot where the ocean becomes the finish line. Entertainment along A1A Boulevard will feature numerous local bands, radio stations, cheerleaders, fans, and volunteers setting the stage for an exciting race to remember.
